Slipper Chair

Classic Design.....New Age Intentions!
A slipper chair is simply an armless upholstered chair with
short legs so that it will sit closer to the ground.
Originally when it first made its appearance in the early 18th century,
this style chair was used in ladies' bedrooms as seating, and to help when getting dressed.
By contrast, in today's homes, slipper chairs are found in any room including living rooms!

Slipper chairs are generally upholstered, and today when we speak of them we tend to refer to the type that features a wide, tight rectangle/square for seating, and another tight rectangle/square for the back, much like the one pictured here.
This is a past project that should not go un-noticed.
