Twin Chairs

These chairs were done in an Oatmeal color fabric that has the look and feel of Wool!

The story of wool starts in Asia Minor during the Stone Age; approximately 10,000 years ago!
Woolens became part of the riches of Babylon.
In Spain wool trade help finance the voyages of Columbus.
In 1377 England's King Edward III "the royal wool merchant"; stopped woven goods imports and domestic weaving of  foreign wool.
By 1660 wool textile exports were 2/3 of England's foreign commerce.
Despite the fact that England discouraged the wool industry in North America, a few smuggled sheep had become of 100,000 sheep by 1665 and the wool industry flourished in America.
Both Washington and Jefferson had flocks of sheep and both were inaugurated in wool suits.
Wool is a renewable source as sheep thrive in all 50 states.
Sheep fill our fiber needs today just as they have for centuries.
